took the truck out for lunch today, got myself a couple of tacos at torchys. decided on 2 trailer parks, trashy style with a side of rice. shit was amazing, if you havent had one try it. youll decide to double down and get a second.

Meatheads Top Notch burger run

Had a good time last night at Top Notch, when i say last night i really mean yesterday from 2:45 to 10:00pm. long ass day but the turn out was great. Got to hang out and bull shit with new friends, and met some more to be new friends. A lot of great people, awesome cars and chadd thomas and the crazy kings came out and put on a good show. Faster pussycat kill kill was on the jumbo vision and there were plenty of burgers, fries and beer to go around. excited about the next one, come out if you can. heres proof it happened.

Meatheads Vs. Pig Vicious

took the truck to eat with the meatheads last friday at pig vicious, an all bacon trailer on east 6th. first time the truck had made a real trip under its own power in like 4 months, felt good. tomorrow we are meeting at on 6th again @ casino el camino. i think it will be my first shot at blogging about my favorite thing in life, burgers... one of the things i made this blog for in the first place. keep an eye out for that.

If you havent heard of this guy or had a chance to see him live, you need to. When I was living in L.A. I saw him play with Lucero and Rocky Votalato, he made them look like fucking chumps... He easily played the best live show ive ever seen, left me stunned and speechless.

My little shit beast Frankie is getting big fast, only a month old a few days ago and shes already almost 11.5 lbs. She lost weight after she was born, dropped down to the low 8's and now shes shot back up... shes eating 6oz of milk/formula every 2-3 hours. Thats a whole damn bottle at a time, she is her fathers daughter.

Lone Star Roundup 2011

I've started getting my truck ready for the Roundup, the wife and I went last year but did'nt have anything to take besides my 66 bug. We parked it outside for obvious reason... but we are ready this year. This will be the 10th annual so it should be an amazing couple of days! We may have some friends caravaning from Arkansas with some old school hand built shit.

I hate the cold

Especially when there is snow involved. I'm used to snow so it isnt a huge deal for me being that I lived in New York for a while and Arkansas gets decent snow once in a blue moon but snow in Austin? Fuck that noise... rain makes people loose their fucking minds here, heads start exploding when it snows. Made it home safe from work this morning though, crashed and woke up to clear skies and roads to match.

The Austin Meatheads asked for volunteers for judge's for the upcoming "chilly" chili cook off on the 12 of Feb. I stepped up and now have the honor of giving people my shitty opinion on meat products along side the Austin Meatheads! Not sure what I will be judging yet but I'm happy to do whatever I can.
